Starpointe Business Park is a Washington County Council on Economic Development (WCCED) project that, when completed, will occupy 1,153 acres of highly accessible land.  The project is situated at the intersection of State Routes 22 and 18 in Hanover Township, a location commonly associated with the site of the Post-Gazette Pavilion and Amphitheater.

Phase 1 of the project is a 148-acre subdivision offering a strategic location, building-ready parcels and inexpensive land costs.  A generous financial incentive program, available from strongly competitive and competitively taxed Washington County, further enhances the site’s advantageous location for manufacturing, research and headquarters or branch office use.

Starpointe is uniquely situated to capitalize of the new Findlay Connection of the Southern Beltway, a key component of the Mon Fayette Expressway project.  Scheduled for completion late in 2006, the Connector will help link Starpointe to the soon-to-be-designated Interstate 376 and improve access and east-west travel between the Mon Fayette near Finleyville and the PA Route 60 Expressway to Pittsburgh International Airport.  Transportation time from Starpointe to the airport via the Findlay Connector will be approximately 10 minutes.  Starpointe is all well-positioned for travel to other principal regional destinations.  Its location is less than 10 miles from Weirton, West Virginia, 14 miles to Steubenville, Ohio and less then 25 miles from downtown Pittsburgh.
